Password Protect Drive Without Any Software

If You are using Windows Vista , 7 and Server 2008 and You Wanna Password Protect Your HDD Drive Without any Extra Software then use this Tricks

Open Run Menu and Type GPEDIT.MSC
Then goto Path
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Operating System Drives.
and
In the Right Side window Pane Double Click on the Require Additional Authentication at Startup
Now Click On ENABLE ( Select ENABLE Radio Button )
Dont Forget to Check Mark  Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM
 Click on OK

After It
 Open Computer (My Computer )
Right Click on HDD Drive that You Want To mark Password Protect , Right Click on The Drive

And click on the Turn on BitLocker
In This Windows You Type Password and Click on NEXT Button
Now Choose option as Your Recovery Type
As Possible as Choose SAVE THE RECOVERY KEY TO A FILE
After Finish Processing close Computer ( My Computer ) and Reopen
and Double Click on HDD Drive ... It ask for Password

Increase USB Data Transfer Speed

Microsoft Release a Hot-fix for Increase USB Data Transfer Speed For Windows 7 and Server 2008. After you install this update, you can increase the maximum transfer size from 64 kilobytes (KB) to 2 megabytes (MB) 

How you Can Install
Method 1.
    Download Hot-fix From Microsoft Web Site
    Download From Here

Method 2.

After you install this update, to increase the maximum transfer size of USB storage devices, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start , type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.
  2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\usbstor\VVVVPPPP
  3. Click Edit, point to New, and then click DWORDValue.
  4. Type MaximumTransferLength, and then press Enter.
  5. Click Edit, and then click Modify.
  6. In the Value data box, type a value to specify the maximum transfer size between 64KB and 2MB. For example, you select Decimal and type a value between 65535 (64K) and 2097120 (2M).
  7. Exit Registry Editor.
