HP Notebook PCs - Error when Downloading HP Software over VPN: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Right-click the file name link on the HP software download page (the file name ending in .exe or zip), and then click Open in New Window .

   n the address bar, replace the first ftp with http .
   If, for example, the URL looks like this:
   ftp ://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software11/COL31326/pv-77795-1/sp44473.exe

   Then the corrected URL should look like this:
   http ://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software11/COL31326/pv-77795-1/sp44473.exe
